The past several weeks have been absolutely full of sunshine. Actual, outside, fresh air and blue skies kind of sunshine. It has been amazing and as a result I have so many moments I could write about, and a bit of a sunburn as proof of how much I have been loving the summer.
Some of these sunshiney moments:
~ Multiple family picnics with the people I love.
~ A visit to a train museum. I had no idea how big the steam engines really were. Or how little the drivers could actually see as they were heading down the tracks!
~ Cherry picking. The sight of bright red cherries nestled in green leaves with a blue sky as a backdrop is just beautiful.
~ Trip to the beach/sandbar with friends. The kids had such a great time going really far from "shore" since the water never got much above their knees.
~ Watching Evelyn hit the finish line strong at her swim meets and Nathan's pride at moving up two levels in his swim classes.
~ A few evenings out with friends. Always full of laughter.
I know I am missing a few things! I may have to do a part 2!
